Dr. Rakesh Suri, is an electronics engineer from BITS, Pilani and a PhD in Business Administration from AMU, he has over 33 years experience in the global IT industry. He was associated with organizations like the Bajaj group, PCL, Patni Computers and DCM. The last corporate position he held was as CEO of the IT division of DCM Ltd. with worldwide operations reporting to him. He is currently engaged in three entrepreneurial ventures two ‘For profit’ and one ‘Non-profit’. His first ‘For profit’ venture is www.techdriveinc.com, a Services Division of TechDrive based in US and India working in the space of RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing). The Second ‘for profit’ venture is an Indian Startup www.hcswellnessworld.com working in the area of Corporate Wellness. This startup has reached the stage of Series A funding requirement. He is also the Founder President of Computer Shiksha, an NGO, which partners with 6 schools, to run free computer literacy programs for more than 2800 underprivileged children in Gurgaon, Delhi, Punjab, U.P. and Rajasthan. Computer Shiksha will be adding 1000 students per month going forward. For him, this is his Life’s Mission. Computer Shiksha is also in the midst of transitioning to a ‘at a distance education model’ whereby it has taken a target to reach One Million Underserved Kids by 2020. Having published management papers in many Indian management journals he is also a visiting faculty for various business schools in NCR.
